The Luthors are back on Supergirl, and they have brought many surprises with them. The episode starts with news about Lillian Luthor and her case. There are multiple clashes between Supergirl, Metallo, and Guardian.
Lena gets framed
Metallo breaks Lillian out of court. After a while, we discover that Lena is being sent to jail for helping Metallo get out of jail. There is still some tension between Kara and James, and she is still trying to talk him out of being The Guardian. The friendship between Kara and Lena is getting better and better. Kara and Mon-El’s relationship is still a bit awkward with nothing much left to talk about.
Kara forces Winn to find something that will get Lena out of jail. At the end we see Lena being compelled to do some things that she is reluctant.
Kara and Mon-El are talking, and she explains that she can’t have it all. Just as she is about to express her feelings, a tiny shiny thing enters Kara’s apartment through the windows. The spark turns into a real man, and this is what he says, “I’m Mr.Mxysptlk, and Kara Danvers, I love you.”
There wasn’t much action this time, it was mainly emotion and friendship and all. Excess of those makes it really annoying to me. Maybe the writers will make up for it in the next episode.
